Before we get to the new episode below I want to stress a point that more than a few close friends who opinions we greatly respect and even some general listeners wrote us about the past few episodes. While we try to get it through clearly in this e-mail by reading and addressing it live on the air, let us clearly state this:
We are not a show about porn sites, while sure-sure, we’re all college-aged guys, most of us (Jon & Jimmy) are almost done with college, so porn amuses us, but by all means, we only would bring up a porn site on purpose if it has anything to do news-wise. We do NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE advocate our listeners to check out the site. Actually, I look at it this way, we suffer through bad sites with girls eating poo from a cup not only cos it was mentioned on VH1′s Best Week Ever, but also because you should NEVER EVER HAVE TO WATCH THAT. So in case it was not stressed enough, we thank you all for your comments, concerns, and if anything, we hope you laugh at how big of idiots we are. *ahem* okay, thank you. Now… back to the episode.
Nitro, Jimmy & Jon return for a whole new episode full of Applesauce goodness! We address problems that were arisen in listener mail about the topic of the past few episodes, and then we go over the slew of news regarding the loss of some large Hollywood stars, past and present. We then review tv shows and for the first time in a while, new movies I Am Legend, Cloverfield and Juno! Sit back, relax, get your chicken nuggets, dip them in some applesauce and enjoy another new episode of THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE GEEKY!
Well we finally went and done it. The first ever GBG Movie Club commentary is coming at cha! Get Back to the Future in your DVD player ready, as Jimmy, Jon, Special Guest AugDawg, and Nitro sit down and do a Good, Bad & Geeky commentary on the movie of the month of January, 2008! Topics ranging from Crispin Clover, the original actor cast and actually shot 3/4 of the film as Marty McFly (before Fox was shot for the film), the original script idea, how the title didn’t almost stay Back To THe Future, where the Mr. Fusion on the Delorean is now, and of course, if Back to The Future was made more for an African-American audience, who would be cast as Marty McFly?
