Hey Kevin, good to hear you.

Thanks for taking a shot at the “one hit wonder” topic. There have been a lot of movies that didn’t have sequels. I would think it would be more beneficial to look at individuals. Some of the names I came up with are…

Sam Jones – Flash Gordon may not have been the best movie, but it was the title role and iconic character in a huge epic with an all star cast. That has to look good on a resume, but what else has he done?

George Lazenby – He’s a household name. And lets admit it, every Bond fan has to have his movie as part of their collection.

I don’t know if television counts, there are probably way too many examples there. And let’s face it, a successful series is a pretty good body of work.

But for the sake of example/discussion, does someone like Henry Winkler count? Fonze owned the 70′s, but as an actor Henry Winkler hasn’t done anything. On the other hand, he’s been a successful producer… does that count?

And if TV doesn’t count, would Mark Hamill be a one hit wonder? If you don’t consider his Joker work, does the trilogy count as 3 hits? Or because it’s only 1 role does that count?
